Polarix Audio (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) establishes the following Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as “this Policy”) regarding the handling of users’ personal information in the services provided on this website (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”).
1. Personal Information
“Personal Information” refers to “Personal Information” as defined in the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan. 2. Methods of Collection
The Company may ask for personal information such as name, email address, and credit card information when a user registers for use. In addition, the Company may collect information regarding transaction records and payments containing the user’s personal information made between the user and our partners (including information providers, advertisers, ad distribution destinations, payment processing agents, etc.; hereinafter referred to as “Partners”) from such Partners. 4. Change of Purpose of Use
The Company shall change the purpose of use of personal information only when it is reasonably recognized that the purpose of use is relevant to the purpose before the change. When the purpose of use is changed, the Company shall notify the user of the changed purpose by the method prescribed by the Company or announce it on this website.
5. Provision and Sharing of Personal Information to Third Parties
- The Company will not provide personal information to a third party without the prior consent of the user, except in the following cases or cases permitted by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other laws and regulations:

- When personal information is provided in connection with the succession of business due to merger or other reasons.

The Company has not “sold” (Sale) personal information in exchange for monetary consideration in the past 12 months and has no plans to do so in the future. However, sharing identifiers such as Cookies with advertising partners (Google, Meta, etc.) for the purpose of targeted advertising distribution may be considered “Sharing” or “Sale” under California law. Users have the right to opt-out of this sharing by the method described in Article 12 (via Article 10).
6. International Transfer of Personal Information
In providing the Service, the Company may transfer the user’s personal information to servers or third parties located outside Japan (including the United States and countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA)). In such cases, the Company will take reasonably necessary protective measures based on applicable laws and regulations (such as concluding Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), transferring to countries with an adequacy decision, etc.).
7. Data Retention Period
The Company retains collected personal information for the longer of the period reasonably necessary to achieve the collection purpose or the period required by applicable laws. After the retention period ends, the Company will promptly delete or anonymize the data.
8. Disclosure, Correction, Deletion, Suspension of Use, etc. of Personal Information

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive primary jurisdiction by mutual consent over any dispute regarding the Service or this Policy.
